Jasmine Rice in the Instant Pot

Servings: 4 cups


  • 1.5 Cups jasmine rice
  • 1.5 Cups cold water


To start:

  • Rinse the jasmine rice in a mesh strainer until water runs clear.
  • Add 1.5 Cups cold water to instant pot liner along with rice.
  • Set to cook on high pressure for 4 minutes with valve set to sealing.
  • At the first beep, set a timer for 14 minutes (4 minutes cook time plus 10 minutes carry over cooking).
  • Turn valve to venting and serve rice.


Serving suggestions:
Refrigerate leftovers immediately.
